breakfast conversation

A: How are things?

B: hmm... it's all blank and dark for me right now... I am struggling to get some clarity of what i want to do, and what i can do...

A: sometimes... it is better to do what we can do... *I mean safe...

B: of course, yes. But, what if it's not exciting?

A: *U don't have an option... but you can give it a try with the other option in parallel... if it doesn't clash...

B: That's true, there is no other option. I think i need to do more brainstorming.

A: yeah... so... we have to do something to feed ourselves...

B: WHAT'S THE POINT is my frequent self-question...

A: I know... that is mine also... but I always avoid it... 'cos there is no answer...

B: hope we didn't become too senile for this age! :-(

A: hmm... i guess... if we convince ourselves... that this is what we wanted to do... at least for limited period of time... and keep the remaining period... open... and start giving real ourselves... it should work fine..

B: agreed :-)

B: i can see that, we have to organise our thoughts and dreams as beautifully as a cleanly organized house, otherwise it's just a mess!

A: It is... I agree with you... 100%

A: hmm.. only thing is.. we should be ready to take failure..

B: that's true. just a random question... is there a failure or success concept for LIFE, in general?

A: I'm giving myself... "more than 10% success..." as the base line... :) I'm happy to fail 89.999% for the 10% success...

B: I like it :-) Good day ahead!

A: You too :-)

PS: this is a conversation between two friends... almost in same phase of life and thinking about what's going on!

what else?

On phone...

A: hi B!
B: how are you man?
A: I am fine, how about you?
B: cool, going good!
A: what else?
B: nothing much!
A: OK.
B: what else?
A: nothing new!
B: hmmm...
A: and?
B: you have to tell...
A: hmmm... nothing new!
B: OK. what else?
A: as usual, nothing... Just life is going on!
B: OK then!
A: Yup, bye
B: bye!

This is how my conversations are going on these days! Does that mean, nothing is happening in life? Or does that mean, I/people forgot to converse? Or is life simply that monotonous?

PS: I am about to start one more boring day at office ;-)

when caste, religion's no bar, register here!

the search for a life-partner... how important and necessary in life! rather, how uninteresting life would be, if there isn't somebody to share with? huh... we, as human beings, like many other animals around, share life with somebody of opposite sex... but, the basic difference is that animals find their mates with instinct, while we crave for so many factors to match before finalizing our mate... how pathetic? unlike in the olden days, the average age of a male or female to get married has come up to twenty five years now... that means, a quarter century... in this long period, with so many interactions and acquaintances, it's quite natural to like somebody to the extent of having confidence of sharing life with! but, is this all? are we respecting our instincts? i guess, NO!

a decent job... nice appearance... good family background... influential circle... fixed assets... color... caste... religion... location... the list never ends... the most sickening thing when it comes to human relationships is: why the hell the girl and the guy should be of same caste/religion to share their lives? i've come upon this interesting news today... somebody out has taken initiative to encourage junta to go ahead with their partner-search beyond the societal boundaries! something really good is happening out here!

chivariki migiledi?

Lately, I have not been watering my plant in the blogger's park... Except regular visits to see how others are grooming theirs, I didn't contribute much to this beautiful place... Though it's only three weeks after my engagement, I have been observing a lot of changes, both personally and professionally, in my life... I will leave all those details to later posts... For time being, I will share with you a good old telugu novel, namely CHIVARIKI MIGILEDI (which means, "what'll be left ultimately"), by Buchi babu, written in late 1940's...

The story is all about an idealist, caught with so many unanswered questions about life... He is constantly under distress, puzzled by the enigmatic rules of love, hatred, people, society and life in general... Of course, there is no proportion of breathtaking excitement or sexual enthrallment in this novel... what really impressed me is the way the author has portrayed the roles... There are numerous thoughtful statements in the novel, like: "Marriage is like a maze, those who are outside try to go inside, and those who are inside will try to go outside", "The fallen leaf, and the thirsty crow teach me philosophy", "when you don't know what you really want, you will develop hatred. At the end, even the realization that you don't need anything will abolish that hatred".

So, what's left ultimately? those who know how to read telugu, and are patient enough to go through those countless number of philosophical paragraphs, can read the novel... and those who can't read telugu, nor have the patience, may know the truth by experiencing and analyzing their real life!

happy graduates, with old friends after the convocation...

this tree is one of my friends at IISc ;-)

after a gap of five months, we have revisited IISc on the occasion of convocation... met all our old friends, those green surroundings, each and every plant, fallen leaves, new buildings, the work place, good old adviser, tea-board, coffee-kiosk, faculty hall, and last but not the least... the bird-watching session ;-)

It was a different feeling altogether... I felt strange when I received the degree certificate... though the certificate has no practical importance, except that it gives us a proof that we actually have done masters... there is something more to it... it reminded me of those first few days after we entered the institute... our expectation levels of life were really high, and we have tremendous confidence and fire inside to achieve anything under the earth... the two years of stay, for good or bad, has brought lot of changes in all our lives...

there were so many sleepless nights, thinking about future and working for the assignments... there were good, bad, sweet, bitter and funny moments... this short trip to our institute has brought back all those memories, tickling our heart... we got a chance to look back how we used to live here... how different we are now, compared to the secured and yet pressurized lives at IISc... I wish I have an opportunity to go back two years into the past and relive those couple of years, in a better way!!!

mummy, i need your love!!!

yesterday morning, when i was drinking tea along with my colleague, in front of my office building, i have seen a lady coming towards the office building... she was carrying her son in her hands... from her looks, i realized that she was looking for somebody... and my guess was right... another lady has come out from the first floor of the building and started chatting this and that with the first one...

the baby boy was so cute with his chubby cheeks, curly black hair, shining baby fat and those charming glistening eyes... the second lady was trying to make friends with this boy... he has hesitated for a while and took his time to make sure that she is not an evil creature... finally, he said his name in his own discrete syllables and shifted to the second lady's hands...

two minutes passed... i took no notice of them, chatting with my colleague... i heard the baby boy crying for her mom, from the car he was sitting in, "mommeeee... mummeee.... come with me to home... i don't want to go alone"... incidentally, it was clear to me that the first lady was not a visitor but a working woman in the same office building... this reminded me of those hell like residential school days, way back when i was ten years old, and how badly we used to wait for our parents on every weekend... though this boy is not in a residential school, i guess his situation is worse than ours... the hell with this corporate race, making these children miss the tender touch of their mothers, and hence making them emotionally lagging...

i wish i had some time to go and spend with this boy!!!

I wonder...

It is my usual habit to halt at the local road-side kulfi vendor, along with my roomies, to savor the luxury of the dessert... Keeba was buying kulfis for us... I have noticed a pretty woman standing near that shop, while her husband was attending a phone call sitting on his bike... I guess, she must be around 27-28... she wore a red saree in north-Indian style... she has that fair complexion with a color that can only be obtained by mixing gold and sandal wood color... she was stunningly beautiful and absolutely perfect in looks... I kept gazing at her without my conscience... in a couple of seconds, she has noticed this... a momentary feeling of discomfort appeared on her face, followed by an expression of happiness... I could observe that she is faintly trying to hide her smile, closing her lips... huh, that was really amazing... she looked like a star to my eyes... I don't know whether thinking/looking like this is insane or irrational on my part... but, the beauty in front of my eyes was really mesmerizing... her expressions shifted between smiling, naughtiness, teasing, admiration, happiness and so on so many times in those couple of minutes before we came out from that shop... her hubby was still on phone... after walking a bit, I asked Keeba, "shall I go back and buy another kulfi?"... he understood me and said yes... ha hha, somehow I didn't go back... but, as the couple passed us by on their bike, she has given the same naughty smile on her face while looking back at me...

I wonder what is hidden in that smile... I feel jealous for her husband's luck... I guess, that calls for a disturbed sleep tonight!!!

shades of life...

things are going in right direction and comfortable pace... when there is nothing to think or nowhere to direct the thoughts, surroundings make us wonder... everything around us will be interesting... here are some of the things that caught my attention during last few days...

i was in a fast food centre along with my roomies on a fine evening... krish was ordering pani puri and anji was busy on phone... there came a charming young man, with a thickly grown beard, focused eyes, and a serious look... a boy of around 10-12 years was asking him to help him some money... this is a very common scene... what is interesting is the way the young man responded... he asked the boy why he needs that money... the boy answered that he is hungry... this young man told seriously that he won't give money but he can buy whatever he wants to eat for that hour... boy answered jubiliantly that he wants to eat panipuri... young man asked whether he needs one plate or two... the boy told he wants two plates of punipuri... the young man got down from his bike and bought two coupons and gave it to the boy and rushed out of the scene instantly... my salute to this young man!!!

on another day, we were roaming on the busy roads of shanivarpet... at one of the signal points, there stopped a couple on a bike... uncle was looking fair and handsome... more than that, he was looking happy... aunt was a bit plump and chubby, wearing a light colored silk saree... while uncle was looking this side and that, catching glimpses of those shortly dressed girls around, aunt passed her hands gently through her hubby's hair and pulled his cheeks... she whispered something in his ears and i could see the tickling sensation that he felt... how lucky is this guy!!!

i was in an auto towards my office on one of those busy mornings... the road was slightly slippery due to the previous night's drizzle... some guy was going on a bike ahead of our auto... he looked very energetic and a healthy expression was there on his face... moments later, his bike got slipped and the fallen bike dragged him on the road to almost 100 metres on the road... there was no consciousness... only his body was giving shaking with pulses... while i tried to get out of the auto (though i don't know what i should/can do), the auto driver scolded me and paced the auto to drop me at the destination... how dramatic and uncertain is our life!!!

snapshots from hell... the end!!!

it's more than two months after I have left my alma mater, Indian Institute of Science... some memories to conclude the snapshots from hell...

it was 27th July'05, a cold morning in Bangalore, that we set our first foot in IISc... we are very much delighted to find few enthusiastic senior students, who came to receive us from the railway station... I know none of those sitting with me in that cab, which took us to the institute... while many of the then current students were walking here and there with books in their hands and glow in their faces, we were sitting on our luggage in front of the hostel office, just like refugees, waiting for the registration... all the delusions that we will be given hi fi rooms were shattered when we entered into those old hostel rooms, where visibility was poor, walls were seeping, and bathrooms unattended!!! of course, those rooms were still prestigious as they have given shelter to many great minds over the last many decades... the whole day went by in trying to make contacts with the new faces, finding the routes etc... we were given a welcome address the very next day in the faculty hall... the scenario faintly resembled the welcome address for John Nash and his batch mates in the movie "A beautiful mind"... we were thrilled to know that the institute was an outcome of the discussion of JRD Tata with Swami Vivekananda a century ago (you can have more information here)... and we were here, to carry on with the standards, and do something... all the faces were very enthusiastic, bright, and nervous at the same time... on the very first day, we were told by the faculty that life at iisc will be hectic, just like hell... and they have proved the same, as days and months passed!!! so, that was the starting point, with lots of hopes, dreams and expectations...

a semester passed by... there were countless situations where we felt all alone... first time in my life, i got less than 10 marks for a test conducted for 100 or so... how can this situation be compared to my four years of undergraduate life where i have never scored below 80 percent... ha hha, that's what we were supposed to learn at this place... learn that life is not a bed of flowers... i have seen almost all of my batch mates crying to tears when they perform badly or got bad grades... i even remember the day i sobbed in front of my seniors that i wanted to leave this place and do something else, rather than continuing with this poor performance and harsh criticism by professors...

well... we sustained finally, and changed the course of our direction... came out of those high expectations from oneself and started taking life a bit easier, while still putting a little bit of effort to meet the requirements... as another semester is finished and we were announced that there is no more course work, we got wings all of a sudden... there was lot of free time and space... institute started looking more beautiful... the same roads, the same trees, the same buildings, and the same people... but, something has changed inside... since the worst period was over, our eyes started to recognize the beauty of this place and its importance in life...

the coffee board, the tea kiosk, the department corridor, the TMC canteen, the gym-cafe, the aerodrome, and the jubilee park... every corner of the institute has its own connectivity with us... the much awaited placement session lasted for a couple of months, leaving us in trance... finally, everybody has got selected and finished thesis work and presentations... some satisfied with their performance, some left with bitter experiences with the whole degree, and some with no feeling at all... at last, the two years of iisc life is over!!! only those memories, lessons, affections, and relations are left...

only after leaving the institute, that we realized how beautiful the life at iisc was... though i have addressed the institute as hell, it was the most beautiful place that i have ever lived... so, that calls for the end of the snapshots from hell!!!

new life...

it's almost more than three weeks after my last post... nothing new to think about but everything new to experience... finished my masters with flying colors... of course, that ended with painful process of giving send off to friends and leaving my good old institution with a heavy heart...

joined in the job, for the first time in my life... lost in understanding this corporate world... Pune life is exactly opposite to what i imagined it to be... i imagined it to be a cool, peaceful and pleasant city... on the other hand, people are really in a hurry here... costly room rents, poorly maintained traffic, loads of pollution, buses without name plates, dust always flying on the roads and so on...

a beginning to my new life, i guess!!!

life is beautiful...

many times, i used to ask myself "why am i born?"... of course, i have never ended up with an answer!!! what a silly question "why am i born?"!!! i don't know whether my line of thinking is too silly or abstract, but this question has really bothered me a lot... considering the whole world as a big system with different elements, i am nowhere considerable/important as an individual!!! it doesn't matter much to this world about whether i am born/alive/dead... all of us are visitors to this planet with different class of tickets!!! i am not responsible for why i am born... i don't have any control over when/how i will die... what really matters is how/why i am living!!! I am the supreme in my own world of thinking (it must be the same case with everybody i guess)... i have the whole responsibility for my deeds... i am the creator/administrator for 'my world'...

in those days of distress, i feel like in hell and curse myself... and life looks just like hell... but, how does it turns into hell just because i am not OK with myself? it all depends on how i perceive the world/life... if i look at it with a positive perspective, it is beautiful and enthusiastic, it really is!!! otherwise, it sucks... why to cry on very few things when life has given all the more reasons to smile and rejoice? i feel/believe "life is beautiful"... friends, nature, beauty, work, studies, coffee, sleep, music, books, puzzles, writings, ice-creams etc. are there to keep me happy... i agree that there will be moments where we can't help being dull... but, remember it is only a phase... let us not make it bigger and make things worse to get out of!!! little-bit of patience, little-bit of love, little-bit of take-it-easy attitude, and a little-bit of care is enough to make life simpler and happier...

believe me... life is really beautiful!!!

PS: i have started blogging one year back with similar lines in my first post... happy birthday to my blog :-)

few observations!!!

life is monotonous and boring these days... after spending around 20 months in this campus, finally the time has come for wrapping up everything and get out/lost!!! only three more months left... the countdown has started... 90... 89... 88... i remember how my senior batch students left this place, smiling (trying hard to conceal their sadness) at us!!! and now, it's our turn to do the same...

two days back, i was walking with krishna towards coffee-board... he was damn too silent, and i could hardly resist myself from keeping a grinning face... i asked him, "shall i tell you a fact?"... coming out of his thoughts, he looked at me with an affirmative look, curious to listen what i was about to tell... i told, "indira gandhi was shot dead by her body gaurd"... he was so annoyed and cursed me with his usual words "worssst felloooooow" and started laughing... a bad joke, but it worked!!!

last week, i happened to watch the movie "the pursuit of happyness"... it was truly inspiring story... at that very moment, i have decided... decided to work hard, really hard to become great!!! after that, i thought why shouldn't i start working from tomorrow? and that tomorrow has not yet arrived!!! and i strongly doubt whether it will arrive at all ;-)

yesterday, after a very small nap of 4 hours in the afternoon, i went to our gymkhana terrace, with an intention to watch sunset... by the time i reached there, sun was still bright enough to stop me staring at him... my eyes caught a beautiful girl sitting on the stadium steps (incidentally, with marvelous curves), and i kept watching her... after a while, i realized that i was not watching sunset and turned back... sunset is over already... still, it was a beautiful evening!!!

snapshots from hell... #1

from the day one we started staying in this institute, we are constantly been encountered with all sorts of shocks and difficulties, which made us call this place as a hell... life is always uncertain here (of course, it is everywhere... but, the degree of uncertainty is very high here), keeping us always in a state of worry and loneliness... a few snapshots from this hell...

being the premier institute, the cream people from all corners of the country enter here with lot of expectations and dreams to achieve... but, more than ninety percent of people lose their confidence/interest in academics just in few months after joining... reasons are yet to be explored!!!

the usual period for a student to finish his phd is four years... but god knows when he will get the degree!!! here too, the reasons are many... bad choice of problem... poor relations with the faculty... or even ill-fate!!! a student who was doing active research for last five years, has lost all his data in a fire accident recently... how valuable is a period of five years in anybody's life? that too in twenties!!!

the key things/findings of the defined problem will be known when the student is about to finish his coursework/research... what next? to explore more or just get off from the place? the choice is often difficult!!! even after successfully cracking the defined problem, the researcher himself will be in confusion to answer the question "why did i do all this?"...

coming to the settlement of life after research... many companies come with specific requirement!!! at the end of the day, everything ends up in playing game with luck... the question "why am i not getting selected?" keeps eating the brain until getting into one or the other lowsy job... by then, the remaining interest/confidence in life dies off!!!

but, at the end of the day, people from this institute are THE best... life is still beautiful and colorful for these students... because, the most difficult stages have been crossed here already!!! this is only one side of the coin... will write about the other half soon!!!

3 years... and those sweet memories!!!

Exactly three years back, we have written GATE... the entrance test conducted all over India for admission into post graduate courses in engineering!!! We used to be very ambitious and used to think about one and only one thing... that is to secure a single digit rank in GATE... those days were really wonderful and unforgettable... i cherished those countless number of hours I spent with my study partner and my best friend, discussing about whole bunch of problems, and those jubiliant smiles on our faces when we succeeded!!! we always kept our positions in top first and second in a class of eighty... and that too for all the four years!!!

Finally, we both cracked the exam and secured good ranks... after months of vacillation between higher studies and a lousy software job, we have finally decided for higher studies!!! but, to our badluck, we both got in different institutes... my dreams for further studies are buried now, at least temporarily!!! she got into one of the best openings a chemical engineer can dream of... and i got into one of the best challenging jobs!!!

three years passed... lot of changes have taken place... both personally and academically... that enthusiasm and zeal to achieve something is not at all there... just the memories remained... again the same lines... We always know that looking back on the tears would make us laugh someday. But we never know that looking back at the moments we laughed together would make us cry someday!!!

The quarter-life crisis

It is when you stop going along with the crowd and start realizing that there are a lot of things about yourself that you didn't know and may or may not like. You start feeling insecure and wonder where you will be in a year or two, but then get scared because you barely know where you are now.

You start realizing that people are selfish and that, maybe, those friends that you thought you were so close to aren't exactly the greatest people you have ever met and the people you have lost touch with are some of the most important ones. What you do not realize is that they are realizing that too and are not really cold or catty or mean or insincere, but that they are as confused as you.

You look at your job. It is not even close to what you thought you would be doing or maybe you are looking for one and realizing that you are going to have to start at the bottom and are scared.

You miss the comforts of college, of groups, of socializing with the same people on a constant basis. But then you realize that maybe they weren't so great after all.

You are beginning to understand yourself and what you want and do not want. Your opinions have gotten stronger. You see what others are doing and find yourself judging a bit more than usual because suddenly you realize that you have certain boundaries in your life and add things to your list of what is acceptable and what is not. You are insecure and then secure. You laugh and cry with the greatest force of your life. You feel alone and scared and confused. Suddenly change is the enemy and you try and cling on to the past with dear life but soon realize that the past is drifting further and further away and there is nothing to do but stay where you are or move forward.

You get your heart broken and wonder how someone you loved could do such damage to you or you lay in bed and wonder why you can't meet anyone decent enough to get to know better. You love someone but maybe love someone else too and cannot figure out why you are doing this because you are not a bad person.

One night stands and random hook ups start to look cheap and getting wasted and acting like an idiot starts to look pathetic. You go through the same emotions and questions over and over and talk with your friends about the same topics because you cannot seem to make a decision.

You worry about loans and money and the future and making a life for yourself and while wining the race would be great, right now you'd just like to be a contender!

What you may not realize is that everyone reading this relates to it. We are in our best of times and our worst of times, trying as hard as we can to figure this whole thing out.

PS: Author is unknown, I got this through one of my best friends! And, it really touched me.

life is beautiful...

nothing special or interesting to write about... my meddling with word lists is still going on... enjoying the comfortable stay at home... but, sleeplessness is increasing day by day... whenever i sleep, words are flooding into mind... in spite of the doubtful success in the exam, preparation is giving me a flavor of english vocabulary...

as uaual, i couldn't sleep last night... after hours of futile attempts to sleep, rolling this side and that side, woke up at 4 in the morning... prepared a tea, elachi added in it, and enjoyed it along with the cool breeze coming from the window as it was raining all the night... i had an advantage of my sleepless night... could fondly recollect some of the sweet memories with my parted friends... could listen to the wonderful devotional songs by my neighboring family... i wish i get such a melodious classical singer as my wife!!!

drizzling is stopped by 6AM... could catch some beautiful scenes out in the garden... i found some of the rain drops still hanging on the flower petals and shining in the growing lighting of the dawn... last night's jasmine flowers are still fresh due to the night long drizzle... i wish i had a digital camera!!! it needs a little bit of interest and patience to find beauty in the same old ordinary surroundings, i guess!!! believe me, the glimpses of those drenched flowers really charged my day... so, friends... whenever you don't get sleep, just dont try to sleep... come out of the room... try out different things available... poetry, scenery, songs... whatever you can!!!

life is beautiful... if we have the eyes to look at it so!!!

love meets confusion meets the disaster...

recently, one of my friend's close friend has committed suicide. it was really a sad news. though it is common these days to hear that somebody has committed here or there, i feel it strongly appropriate to write a few lines about the incident.

the story goes like this... this boy is in love with his classmate since long time. the pair always say that they cannot live without each other. they proved that they are made for each other. they got married in the first year of graduation without disclosing it to their parents. girl belongs to some upper caste and boy to a backward. it is now one year after they have finished their graduation and started living with their parents. boy used to tell everything to his mother who used to be his best friend always. the problem started a few months back when the girl's parents started looking for some match for her. she couldn't convey them properly that she cannot live without the boy and that she has got married already. but, somehow, her parents sensed that something is wrong. as usual, in a cinematic fashion, they started black mailing her. her agile mind accepted their order in a confused state and got engaged with the boy(bridegroom) brought by parents. and stopped talking with her loved one. the boy somehow knew the news and approached the girl and tried his level best to convince her. he even talked to the bridegroom. but no use!!! the girl said that she dont know this boy and bridegroom said he wont object if she is willing to go with the boy. imagine the situation of this boy!!! and think of the girl's state of depressed and given up mind!!! few days after that incident, the girl has committed suicide. hearing this, the boy couldn't wait and he followed the girl's path.

the question comes here!! once we die, there is no question of how we are or whom we like or how we wanted to live... but, what happens to others who are so closely related to the died? what is the situation of the parents? how depressing it is for the friends? isn't there any solution for this? why dont people realise that there are so many good things than just love? why parents dont understand their children's feelings? the real beauty of life can be seen only through gaining experience through failures and getting mentally strong everyday... oh god! please give us the courage to face the reality!!!

short but sweet...

after a long gap of five months, i took ten days of vacation..
met my best friends.. recollected all sweet momories.. visited hyderabad.. to my luck, weather is good there without too much temperature.. visited my b.tech college.. wow, how nice the feeling is!!
very few have attended the reunion but whoever attended has enjoyed a lot.. nobody has talked about the past, everybody has talked about their future plannings and their present life.. it's really interesting to listen to all of them..
throughout my stay at home, i have had a good time with my nephew who is nine months old and so cute just like a farex baby..
and now, i am back at my institution.. feeling like i am in heaven.. so pleasant is the weather here.. institution is beautiful and green as ever.. gulmohar trees are in their full blossom though it is already june.. and finally, my semester results are announced and i got better result than what i have expected..
a happy ending for my short but sweet vacation... that too with a happier beginning of my second year of stay over here at iisc..

my life at iisc...

iisc.. indian institute of science.. dream place for many who are interested in research.. totally covered with beautiful trees all over and seasonal flowers everywhere.. one cannot help but wondering at the natural beauty of this place.. so cool, so pleasant, and really awesome.. people work day and night just like in hell.. wide variety of attitudes can be seen here starting from highly perturbed to extremely stable.. but, one thing is common in all.. these are the best brains of the country and world..
i have joined here with my AIR 2 in GATE imagining that my stay over here will be like a bed of flowers and i can enjoy two long years like anything.. but, things turned out to be the reverse.. right from the first week of classwork, my prof's started giving shocks. day by day, my confidence levels dropped to ground level and then ultimately to a deep valley.. gone.. i stood as a five pointer in first sem.. started thinking about what happens to my future? but, as the days passed, i started digesting the fact that achievements can come only through some hardships.. another semester is finished.. and now, i feel proud to say.. i am a student at iisc..
iisc.. it's just the hell.. but still so pleasant and beautiful..

life is beautiful... isn't it?

most frequently asked question... "how is life?" instantaneous reply is "it's just going?" do we really ask ourselves where it is going? do we really have an answer for that? if life is just going, why do we let it go just like that?
well.. i feel that the very cause of our disappointment lies in our perspective of life. after all, the world is how you look. all of us are blessed with some or other inherent ability to succeed in life. but, most of the time, we didn't realise that the very purpose of life is to enjoy life than just let it go with no effort. is there any solution for this? yeah, may be a simple realisation can do. what matters most is how you see yourself. we can look at ourselves coming out from ourselves and analyse the things, find the root cause of our problem and act in a constructive way. there are many more things in life to get involved and relish the taste. beauty of nature, poetry, music, movies, kids, and ultimately ourselves.
don't you think life is beautiful??
